Luis O. Diaz

Luis O. Diaz handles all types of criminal matters in both State and Federal Courts. A graduate of Fordham University, Mr. Diaz received his Juris Doctor Degree from New York Law School in 1995. Mr. Diaz was admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey in 1996 and the District of Columbia in 1997. Mr. Diaz is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.

After many years as a Legal Assistant and various internships including the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, Mr. Diaz began his career as a solo-practitioner and was later joined by Howard Meyer (deceased), former Attorney in Charge of the Citywide Narcotics Division of the Legal Aid Society. Mr. Diaz handles various matters in state and federal courts including White Collar Crimes, Narcotics cases, Domestic Violence cases, Violent Crimes, Bank and Insurance Fraud, DWI offenses, Probation Violations, Parole Violations, and Pre-Arrest Investigations. Mr. Diaz has represented various law enforcement officers charged with crimes in State and Federal courts.

Mr. Diaz recent cases include a Miami International Airport importation case involving 47 kilos of Cocaine before the Chief Judge of the Federal District Court in the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Diaz has tried cases for many years in the Federal Courts, the New York City and New York State Courts and the Superior Court of New Jersey.
