Richard John Angowski, Jr. , was born January 1, 1977, in Lakewood, New Jersey. He attended Georgetown University. Richard graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government with a concentration in International Relations. After college, he taught both American History and Western Civilization at Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River, New Jersey. Richard then returned to law school and graduated from Seton Hall University in 2004.

During law school, he worked as a law clerk to a small general practice firm in Brick, New Jersey, gaining experience in commercial litigation and personal injury matters. He also worked as an intern for a Judge in the Criminal Division in the Ocean County Superior Court during his third year of law school. After completing his law degree, he then served as the Law Clerk for the same Judge in the Criminal Division.

In 2005, Richard commenced working as a private attorney in a general practice and handled all types of litigation as well as transactions. For the past four years, Richard has concentrated on litigation of all types in both the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and New York on behalf of individuals, closely held corporations and governmental bodies (Borough of Palisades Park, the City of West New York and the Borough of Fort Lee) including but not limited to the shareholders’ disputes, substantial property damage claims, insurance coverage disputes and real estate litigation.

During his years of practice, Richard has gained valuable experience in all facets of litigation. His experience with individual clients, municipalities and closely held corporations has given him unique perspective regarding the everyday needs of clients, whether they be the closely held corporation, a municipality, a commercial developer or an average citizen, a municipality or an average citizen.
