BMW crash
Two construction workers were injured recently at a Clinton Hill job site. According to witnesses, a BMW driver was speeding down Clinton Avenue between Greene and Gates Avenue when he crashed into a cement mixer at a construction site. The impact of the crash caused cement barriers to hit two construction workers. The two workers were taken to Methodist Hospital for their injuries. Since 2019 there have been 118 crashes on Clinton between Park and Atlantic Ave. These accidents resulted in 7 cyclists injured, 6 pedestrians and 38 motorists. There was also an accident just a few days prior to the construction site accident where a baby was killed while being pushed in her stroller near the same intersection.
